Fidget Spinners.

    Should Fidget Spinners Be Allowed?

                

  YES.   

I believe that fidget spinners should be allowed. I will give you 3 reasons why.

1.They help you with stress when you are really angry. I will always get stressed and beg for a fidget spinner to get my stress out and not hold it in so I don’t have to take it out on other people.

2.You can play with them at play time but not in the classroom because the teachers get angry.

3.I just really want to have fidget spinners so I want Miss Johnstone not to band them!

In Class we watched the trailer of the movie "A Dog's Purpose".We then talked about what we thought dog's purposes were.Here are my ideas...Enjoy!
A Dog’s Purpose

I think a dog’s purpose is to keep you happy!

I think a dog’s purpose is to play with you when you have nothing to do!

I think a dog’s purpose is to keep you company in case you get angry!

I think a dog’s purpose is  for you to play FETCH with them!

I think a dog’s purpose is to protect you and scare of ROBBERS or a ROBBER!

What I Have Learnt At Gilberthorpe School Term 1

What I have learnt at Gilberthorpe School Term 1

I have learnt that when you make a mistake you learn from it.

Also have learnt to use paragraphs in writing because in one paragraph there is one idea. Then the next paragraph is all another idea like the dog ran away .

The next paragraph is the dog went to another home so basically it is just ideas bunched up all together . That's what paragraphs are.

In maths I have been learning to round and three times table’s  ( this is what I learned with Mrs Howarth)  . For example for three times table’s 3x3=9 and another example 3x9=24 and for rounding (this is what I have been learning with Miss Morgan) example 236=240=200 and 478=480=500 so when you round you basicly round to the nearest ten.
 So that’s what I’ve learned this term.

Ethan And Sonny And Shyla's Roll A Dice Story

Once upon a time there was a princess that lived in the Russian Castle and a prince that lived the England castle. One day the prince decided to go to  Russia to see the beautiful princess of Russia. Then he was late for her flight by a dragon but got a free flight by another dragon to Russia. When he got to Russia he met the princess there and they sat in the back of the fancy car. Then when they got to the castle she showed him the secret passageway to the dragon that guarded the treasures. The princess owned the most rare diamond and showed it to the prince, but…  the diamond was gone and  the princess found a penny and it was a lucky one. So did the prince and it was an unlucky penny.When the prince found the unlucky penny the dragon attacked the handsome prince and ran for his life like a strike of lightning the dragon name was Dragoon and the heart of it was the red diamond. and the dragon has to be tamed to give the red diamond back  but then the dragon meets up with him and destroyed the castle wall . wall tumbled and I the dragon is one of the fastest one and took the prince and bringed it to its home and put it next to it eggs!

And he new it was the king dragon and the dragon had the princess was in the corner and scared and the red diamond was glowing  and glowing until it turn into a egg and the prince found it’s treasure room and found the everlasting gold sword  that can defeat the dragon and got the sword and fought the dragon and the prince fought for hours and then the egg turn back to an red diamond , the prince got it  and raised it in the air and it started to glow and the light blinded everything and the red dragon turn back to it normal form and it vanish and the prince got the princess and saw the dragon outside and the dragon said you saved me and the dragon went to the sky and that’s the end.

Port Hills Fire

                 Port Hills Fire

The fire on the Port Hills were once two fires that merged together and made one huge and massive fire. That made a lot of fire fighters evacuate people that live on the Port Hills .

People living near certain roads got evacuated when the fire was burning on the Port Hills because it came very close to them.

Eleven houses and two sheds got burnt by the orange and yellow flames of the Port Hills fire.

It was horrifying for the people who owned the house to get out of their house and then turn around to watch it get burn down into ash. If I lived on the Port Hills when the fire was on I would be absolutely  horrified and terrified. If I saw my house get burnt down by the fire and also burn into ash.

People that live on the Port Hills are thankful that the  firefighters put out the humongous fire and saved their homes from getting burnt down and the fire has brought  frustration to Christchurch and also Christchurch thinks the firefighters are really brave because they battled  the furious fire.
