I was a student in the Uru MÄnuka Cluster. This was a place where I shared my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts.
Hi Shyla! My name is Susie and I am a member of the SLJ team this year. I will be commenting on your blogs throughout summer. I hope you had an amazing year at school and hope you are as excited as I am for summer!
I love how you have put in so much effort to creating this amazing Google slide. I enjoyed reading your personal opinion on each and every fact that you have mentioned. Surprisingly enough, I did not know that Gisborne is the very first city to see the sunset! It is pretty amazing how all the cities take turns when it comes to viewing the indescribably beautiful sunset, right?
Is there a perfect spot in Christchurch for viewing sunsets? I live in Auckland and there is this beautiful beach on the west side of Auckland called 'Maori Bay'. You should definitely make a visit if you do get a chance to come up.
One of my favourite facts about Aotearoa is that only 5% of NZ's population is human and the rest are animals. I absolutely love animals but I would have never imagined that they take up 95% of the population in this country!!
I'm super excited to see more of your blog posts Shyla. Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
