Cultural Diversity Day

World Cultural Diversity Day

World Cultural Diversity Day was a special day that was designed to embrace each other's uniqueness and differences. Like the acrostic poem above, Learn to be a different individual and value each other regardless of our skin colour, talents and years.Ara Tu Whakata has 24 different country's represented.Wednesday 22nd May was a fun day with lots of traditional clothing. Some of the countries were: Sri Lanka, Samoa, America, NZ Maori, Hungary (My Country), Germany, Fiji, Cambodia and Cook Islands (Also My Country). People brought foods from their country.
